I usually assume that people our age have done some things around the house by now and aren't too put off by the little tasks that come with living on your own. I was telling my friend last night about how I cook my Chinese lettuce (I stir-fry it with sliced potatoes) and she has this almost pained expression on her face... "but that sooo much trouble. you have to peel it and cut it and stuff..." come on! how long does it take to peel 2 potatoes if you're eating on your own?!
